I am a freelance creative designer, art director and ideator with over 13 years of experience in the digital advertising and communications industry. I specialize in UX design and am an HFI (Human Factors International) Certified Usability Analyst.
An Electronics and Communications engineer, I took a detour which turned into a bona fide calling, when I joined MICA to pursue my MBA in Communications Management. I specialized in Media Management and began my career at Interactive Avenues as a Manager, Strategy and Planning. This was followed by stint as a Media Manager during which I helped to set up, the agency’s Mobile Media Division.
Having always been fascinated by design, I then decided to pursue the creative end of the spectrum. I was given an opportunity to explore my passion for design within the organization itself. Over the next couple of years, I rose through the ranks to eventually head the design team as a Creative Director.
Over the course of my creative career I’ve helped to create ‘Get Lost’ Mahindra Adventure’s digital publication, designing and photographing, extensively for it. I lead the design effort for Get Lost during it's 2 year(20 issues) running period. I was also the creative lead for several key clients such as Fiat, Asian Paints, Wockhardt Hospitals, Arjun Novo, HDFC Bank, SBI MF, Zee, Mahindra Thar, American Express and Axis Bank amongst others. I have won two IDMA Golds, four IDMA Silvers, one DMA Asia Gold, two Abbys and several other awards. I am a technology enthusiast, an Apple junkie, photographer, music lover and incorrigible road-tripper.
